WHERE AND HOW TO INSTALL RADIATOR IN THE BATHROOM
When installing radiators in bathrooms and other rooms where water is present, there are rules that must be followed. Prije instalacije neophodno je pratiti prilozena uputstva i preporuke koja se odnose na instaliranje radijatora u vlaznim prostorijama.

The radiator casing must be designed with adequate IP protection; standards are used to determine under what conditions the device may operate. Whether it can withstand water, dust or other foreign objects, IP protection consists of two numbers eg IP20 and IP24.

    The IP 24 mark consists of two numbers : 2 i 4
The first figure shows the resistance to solid foreign objects (dust, flies, etc.).Number 2 specifies that the device is protected from 12mm solid objects (eg fingers)
While the other indicates water resistance.
Number 4 determines the degree of protection against water splashing in all directions with controlled permissible fluid entry into the unit.

    WHAT ARE THE ZONES BATH

To provide clear guidelines for electricians, the IEE Wiring Rule divides home baths into four zones, each with its own electrical protection requirements. It is important to note that not all bathrooms are large enough to have all these zones - and that the instructions should always be combined with a good dose of common sense. We always recommend that you check with your electrician before choosing the electrical appliance to install in your bathroom. A good electrician will not install the unit in the bathroom unless he / she thinks it is safe.

    Zone 0
It is an area occupied by water sources such as bathing and showering. The area includes your faucets or shower and everything underneath - from shower to floor, from faucets to bathtubs. We're not sure how or why you would want to install an electric heater in this area - but if you've thought about it, don't do that. If you choose, you must limit your choice to devices with IPX7 protection or higher.

    Zone 1
Zone 1 covers the area just above the bathroom or shower. Accurately measured, it extends vertically either to the highest fixed water outlet (i.e. to showers or bath taps) or to a height of 2.25 m - which is the highest. Practically speaking, in most bathrooms this works as a whole wall that surrounds your bathroom or shower, from floor to ceiling. If you have a shower without a shower or bath, Zone 1 extends 1.2 m away from the center of the water outlet. It is rarely practical to mount an electric heater in zone 1, but if you want, you will need a device with at least IPX4 protection. Radiators in IP 24 protection can be mounted in zones 2 and 3. Remember that the radiators must be connected to the appropriate socket or direct connection and that the installation must be performed by a qualified person.

    Zone 2
Zone 2 in your bathroom covers all areas within 0.6 m of the zone boundary. This is an area that surrounds outside your bathroom and shower and can be a convenient place to place a radiator. Electric radiators for use in zone 2 must have a minimum IPX4 protection rating.

    Zone 3 (outside the zone)
Zone 3 covers all areas of your bathroom that do not fall within the above zones. Many bathrooms are small enough that they do not have a zone 3 - or zone 3 is so small that it is not large enough for heating installation. Zone 3 is not a landscaped bathroom; there is no restriction on the level of electrical protection required of appliances in this area, except for the warning that all radiators must not be within reach of persons using the shower or bath. However, you should always be very careful when choosing a Zone 3 bathroom radiator. Our recommendation is that no matter what the zone 3 is, do not use protection devices less than IP24 in bathrooms.
