NORWAY RADIATOR THERMOSTATS

The thermostats serve to provide maximum comfort to the users of the heating system. Proper use, adjustment and control is a prerequisite for rational energy consumption and reduced heating costs. They provide COMFORT, PRECISION, SECURITY, ECONOMICITY, DURABILITY.
All Norwegian radiators have electronic thermostats. On the GLAMOX 3001 series it is possible to choose thermostats ET electronic or DT digital electronic thermostat. GLAMOX H30 and GLAMOX H40 and H60 WiFi models have pre-installed digital thermostats. The main advantages of electronic thermostats are: high accuracy of temperature measurement (sensitivity 0,1 ? C, regulation 0,3 ? C), quiet operation, longevity. When it comes to heating, it is essential that the temperature control be as precise as possible, which is why the Norwegian GLAMOX and ADAX radiators are more energy efficient than others. Most heaters have mechanical or electromechanical thermostats with poor sensitivity ? 0.5 ? C and control ? 1.5 ? C which increases energy consumption.
GLAMOX 3001 - ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT ET
The GLAMOX ET electronic thermostat is 10 times more sensitive than the mechanical thermostat because it has a sensitivity of 0.1 ? C and a regulation of 0.3 ? C and are silent. For small changes in temperature, the radiator responds and lights up so that the ignition and shut-down intervals are short. In practice, this means that if you set 21 ? C to 21.1 ? C, the radiator will switch off and 20.8 ? C on.
You can adjust the temperature with the dial on the front, while the red light indicates when it is on / off.
The thermostat is factory-set so that the set temperature is in the middle of the room at 1m in height. Otherwise, the calibration itself is simple and provides instructions on how to calibrate the thermostat in your room.
GLAMOX 3001 I GLAMOX H30 - DIGITALNI TERMOSTAT DT
With the GLAMOX DT digital thermostat, it can adapt your heating to your needs and save an additional 15% on electricity. Set up work modes when you are at home, at work or when you are sleeping.
The sensitivity is the same as with an electronic thermostat and you can use the same, that is, instead of raising and lowering the temperature for certain periods of time.
Large LCD display, programming and temperature buttons are on the front, the lights indicate which mode is on.

WEEKLY PROGRAMMING
We always say that the most important function of saving energy is Sunday programming. Basically, weekly programming allows you to schedule when the heater will switch on or off or adjust the temperature according to your living needs.
Ideally, the heater only works as long as it takes for you to have maximum heating comfort.
Good programming avoids unnecessary waste of energy when you do not need it, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions and saving your pocket.
ADAPTIVE ECO START
Adaptive Start is a program that predicts when it is optimal to switch on heating to reach the desired temperature at a specific time. Based on previously memorized parameters, the heating element determines the optimum time to start heating. The adaptive start process is an interactive process of the heater and space and the heater, based on the previous parameters, corrects when necessary and as required.
OPEN WINDOW DETECTION

LOT20 ECO DESIGN STANDARDS EU
The LOT20 rules for heaters apply from January 1, 2018. It is an EU directive aimed at making heating products more efficient, in order to contribute to efforts to reduce CO2 emissions of carbon dioxide. Many existing non-standard products will no longer be available on the EU market.
In 2009, the European Parliament established the indicative guidelines for a new ECO design directive. The aim of the directive was to make the devices as economical as possible in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. New options have been sought that will reduce the amount of energy used by the heater during its lifetime.
The new directives give the user the choice of environmentally friendly and economical heaters.
Lot 20 changes are big for the heating industry. As of January 1, 2018, non-qualifying heaters cannot be manufactured for sale in the EU. It is not allowed to deliver products that do not meet the standards and are manufactured after 01.01.2018. Products that were manufactured before 2018 can still be sold.
Scope
The new directive applies to:
"domestic heating units with a rated thermal output of 50 kW or less and commercial heating units with a rated thermal output of products or individual segments of 120 kW or less".
What it means?
The beginning of 2018 marked a turning point in electric heating.
Suddenly, previously unknown functions, they must become a mandatory part of the characteristics of the heating elements.
Functions such as "adaptive start" had technical names but did not apply, when entering EU rules manufacturers had to develop them for market needs and incorporate them into their products. Without weekly programming, open window detection and adaptive start from 01.01.2018. it is not possible to produce and sell heating appliances in the EUe.
ADAX adapted its radiators to EU standards and provided additional energy savings and reduced greenhouse gas effects.
